• “Memory and Destiny: The Life of Glenn Janss,” published by Two Skies Books, 2021. Co-authored with Ms. Janss, philanthropist and founder of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts (SVMOA).

• “Teaching Native Pride,” published by Washington State University Press (2020), a 40-year history of the Upward Bound program at the University of Idaho, detailing education and acculturation among the Nez Perce and Coeur d’Alene Tribes, for teachers of education, regional history and Native American studies. (Widely reviewed in academic journals).

• “A History of Indians in the Sun Valley Area,” in conjunction with Blaine County Historical Museum; accepted into Blaine County School District curriculum, well-reviewed in the press, and by Idaho Humanities Council (2017).

  • Details: Expatriate Scholarship awarded based on manuscript submitted while researching films in Czech Republic for Taos Talking Pictures Film Festival. Studied journalism with Alan Levy of the Prague Post, memoir writing with Patricia Hampl, and poetry with C.K. Williams.
